HLC Annual Fundraiser Dinner
Burritt on the Mountain

Join us for the Huntsville Learning Center’s annual fundraiser dinner—our largest and most mission-critical event of the year, directly supporting the programs and students we serve.
Gather with us beneath the trees at Burritt on the Mountain for a one-of-a-kind storytelling experience. In place of a traditional keynote speaker, the evening will unfold through live music and artistic expression, featuring Strings of Pearl, spoken word by Lo the Poet, and a commissioned painting by local artist Libby Pope. Guests will enjoy a plated dinner provided by Mason Dixon Bakery & Bistro.
Inspired by the words of the prophet Isaiah 61:3, the evening will reflect this year’s theme, “Oaks of Righteousness.”

Back-to-School Supply Drive
July 1 -- August 1
As summer begins to wind down, a new season is just around the corner. In a few short weeks, our students will trade swimsuits for backpacks, field trips for classrooms, and summer adventures for new opportunities to learn and grow.
For many families, however, the excitement of a new school year is accompanied by a difficult reality: the cost of preparing children for school. Between notebooks, folders, pencils, crayons, and other classroom essentials, expenses can add up quickly. Add in basic hygiene items like deodorant, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, and toothbrushes—items that cannot be purchased with government food assistance benefits—and the burden becomes even greater.
That's why Huntsville Learning Center is proud to launch our annual Back-to-School Supply Drive.
We believe every child deserves to walk into the classroom feeling prepared, confident, and valued. A backpack filled with supplies may seem simple, but for a student, it can mean the difference between feeling anxious and feeling ready. Basic hygiene items provide more than cleanliness—they provide dignity, self-confidence, and the assurance that a child belongs.
Through the generosity of our community, we hope to equip the under-resourced students we serve with the tools they need for a strong start to the school year. Every donated item helps remove a barrier to learning and reminds a child that an entire community is cheering them on.

Thank you for helping us ensure that every child starts the school year with both the supplies and dignity they deserve. We'll collect through August 1.
